Champions, Dips & Tears of Joy: A Super Bowl 2018 Recap
WHAT A GAME!! If you didn’t watch last night's super bowl game, I feel bad for you. It was truly an INCREDIBLE game. A nail-bitter that was not expected.
As some of you know, I’m a born and raised Philly girl living in Baltimore. My dad has been an eagles fan since the day he was born and Sunday’s in our household were for football. Last nights game was truly a dream for many Philadelphians. The drought is finally over and the Eagles are Super Bowl Champs!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it up to the great city of brotherly love to watch the game. So I had to settle for viewing it on my couch with my Patriots loving fiancé (BOO). But we ultimately made the best of it by whipping up some yummy dips & tossing back some cider!
Personally I was all about the buffalo chicken dip, a super bowl delicacy. Whereas my fiancé, who doesn’t like buff chick dip (2 strikes there) opted for some loaded baked potato dip. Both were seriously fantastic so like props to me?! I’ve linked both recipes below so you can make them too!
My latest obsession has been with Rosé cider. I’m generally a snobby cider drinker and can be super particular about which brands and flavors I choose. And traditionally, I HATE Angry Orchard. Their cider is just toooo sweet for me and doesn’t have great flavor. But recently I had to test out their Rosé Cider because honestly when you mix two of my fave drinks together, I’m a little curious. And man oh man am I OBSESSED. So obviously we had to pick some up for the game. Went GREAT with my buff chic dip.
I hope you all enjoyed your Super Bowl Sunday whether your team won, or not. Let me know in the comments what you did, if you have any great recipes to share or if you try mine out!
